Conspiracy Theory Presentation
- In order to practice the skills required for a successful TOK Presentation, you will prepare and deliver a "TED Talk" style presentation about a conspiracy theory.
- Please see the TOK Presentation rubric to see how IB describes and assesses a presentation. This rubric will be used (as much as possible) for this presentation. This will count as a project.
- Things to consider when preparing your presentation:
- How do we know that the conspiracy theory is true or not true? What evidence exists to prove it? Is the evidence reliable? Do you consider it to be knowledge?
- What Ways of Knowing (and Areas of Knowledge) relate to the understanding of the topic and its evidence?
- What are the various viewpoints related to the topic?
- How does the concepts of personal knowledge and shared knowledge relate to the topic (if at all)?
